Cargo insured for $2500.00 or more will be insured directly through our insurance partners CargoCover. The insurance certificate will be made in the name of the party that pays the shipping charges, unless otherwise requested. In the event of a claim for damage or loss during transit, the insured party will file a claim directly with cargo cover. WRAPiT Express will assist in providing documentation. All charges related to a shipment must be paid before a claim will be settled.

Cargo insured for less than $2500.00 will be insured directly with Freight & Crate. In the event of a claim the insurance paperwork will be filed directly to Freight & Crate. An insurance certificate will not be issued.

Deductibles and Insurance Conditions by Commodity

New General Merchandise:
Ocean, Air, & Inland Conditions Fragile Goods: Subject to a deductible of 3% of the total insured value for loss due to breakage, minimum $500 any one accident or occurrence.

Used General Merchandise:
Ocean, Air, & Inland Conditions Excluding Rust, Oxidization, Discoloration, Scratching, Denting, Marring, Chipping, Mechanical and Electrical Derangement Subject To: Used Machinery Clause. Fragile Goods: Subject to Deductible of 1% of Total Insured Value for Loss Due to Breakage, min. $250 any one accident or occurrence.

Fragile Goods (i.e. glass, ceramics, marble, granite, tiles, pottery and other goods deemed to be breakable:
Ocean & Air Conditions: Subject to the Institute Cargo Clauses (A) or Institute Cargo Clauses (Air), as applicable or as otherwise indicated below. Including War, Strikes, Riots and Civil Commotion's Risks as per the Institute Clauses. Subject to a deductible of 3% of the total insured value for loss due to breakage, minimum $500 any one accident or occurrence. Inland Conditions: Subject to the Institute Cargo Clauses (A) or Institute Cargo Clauses (Air), as applicable or as otherwise indicated below. Including War, Strikes, Riots and Civil Commotions Risks as per the Institute Clauses, as applicable. Subject to a deductible of 3% of the total insured value for loss due to breakage, minimum $500 any one accident or occurrence.

Non-Perishable Foods/Beverages/Commodities:
Ocean Conditions Fragile Goods: Subject to a deductible of 1% of the total insured value for loss due to breakage, minimum $250 any one accident or occurrence. Warranted Full Container Loads only. Air & Inland Conditions Fragile Goods: Subject to a deductible of 1% of the total insured value for loss due to breakage, minimum $250 any one accident or occurrence.

Personal Effects - Professionally Packed including Autos - s.t. $500 Ded -
Ocean, Air, Inland, & Bulk Conditions SUBJECT TO A $500 DEDUCTIBLE ANY ONE ACCIDENT OR OCCURRENCE. WARRANTED PROFESSIONALLY PACKED. WARRANTED ITEMIZED, VALUED INVENTORY TO BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO SHIPMENT. (The following exclusions will apply to goods that have been owner packed: EXCLUDING SCRATCHING, DENTING, MARRING, CHIPPING, PILFERAGE AND BREAKAGE DUE TO OWNER'S PACKING. EXCLUDING RUST, OXIDIZATION AND DISCOLORATION.)

Personal Effects - Owner Packed - All Risks - s.t. $300 Ded -
Ocean, Air, Inland, & Bulk Conditions WARRANTED ITEMIZED, VALUED INVENTORY TO BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO SHIPMENT. EXCLUDING SCRATCHING, DENTING, MARRING, CHIPPING, PILFERAGE AND BREAKAGE DUE TO OWNER'S PACKING. EXCLUDING RUST, OXIDIZATION AND DISCOLORATION SUBJECT TO $300.00 DEDUCTIBLE EACH ACCIDENT OR OCCURRENCE.

Ocean, Air, & Inland Conditions Subject to a $1,500. Deductible any one accident or occurrence.

Antiques/Art/Collectibles -
Ocean, Air, & Inland Conditions WARRANTED PROFESSIONALLY PACKED. WARRANTED PROOF OF VALUE TO BE DECLARED IN THE EVENT OF A CLAIM. SUBJECT TO THE ANTIQUE CLAUSE IF APPLICABLE: In the event of the subject-matter insured being damaged by risks insured against, this insurance covers only the reasonable cost of repairs and in no circumstances shall cover depreciation or loss in value in addition thereto.
